Neil Richey
Neil is a native of Tennessee. He has preached full-time in Virginia, South Carolina, and now Georgia.
In 1995, Neil met Emily (Martin) and in 1997 they were married while attending Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN. Since that time they've been blessed with three children--one who is now in Paradise, and two more--Peyton and just recently, Rebekah.
Neil was formally educated at the University of Memphis, Freed-Hardeman University, the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions, and Theological University of America. He loves to learn and plans to continue his education every single day.
Neil preached his first sermon when he was about eight years of age and by the time he was sixteen he started accepting preaching appointments in the West Tennessee area. Since preaching that first sermon, he's been blessed with opportunities to preach in eleven different states and four countries. He loves to do mission trips, and has preached the Gospel on four continents.
Other interests include sports of all kinds, particularly golf and watching Tennessee football. He also holds a Private Pilot's license and enjoys flying every chance he gets.
Neil would like to invite you to visit www.apreacherwithwings.com to read some of his essays and to watch his short devotional spots called "Thinking Out Loud."
Neil loves working with the good brethren at the Piedmont Road Church of Christ and to be a part of the staff at the Georgia School of Preaching and Biblical Studies, he says is a dream come true.
